2006 | Discover Climbing
From the highest mountains to steep climbing faces, Sophie Denis-Helenek has been there, done it, and lived to tell about it. This latter quality distinguishes Sophie from the everyday pack with her uncommon sense of carpe diem tempered with a clear vision of the bigger picture.
 
She has gone to the extremes, pushed the limits, and emerged victorious… but not always. She had taken the falls, losses, disappointments, and setbacks as lessons and insights gained to overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges and obstacles, ultimately achieving others' only dream. 

Start climbing in 2006, Sophie cumulated the next to years numerous climbs to enhance her climbing skills.
Climb the highest peak in the southern atmosphere, Aconcagua, 22,837 feet.

2008 | Everest Summiter

In May 2008, she succeeded in scaling Mount Everest and becoming only the fourth and youngest French woman to accomplish the feat.

2010 | Top Female Alpine Climber

In 2009-2010, Sophie specialized in Alpine climbing, and open 7 new climbing route in the Andeans in South America. The distinguished American Alpine Journal featured 3 of those climbs.

2011 | Top Female Mountain Climber

In 2011, she undertook the feast of climbing 5 the highest peaks in the world (mountains above 26,000ft) in 5 months.
